The Sym ADX 300 uses the same engine seen in the Joyride 300, but the chassis adapts reinforced to the demands of a crossover model, that is, more rigid. Thus, the cubic cylinder 278 cm3. The cylinder head is sohc, it is cooked by water and has 4 valves. Delivery 26 hp at 8,000 rpm and 26 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The electronics is present by means of TCS traction control, also disconnectable. Quality is present in brakes and suspensions.
In the front train, a brake disc of 260 mm in diameter, bitten by 4 radial clamp pistons guarantees braking, supported by the 240 mm rear disk for two piston clamp (the vast majority of motorcycles, carries one). The Bosch ABS is double channel. The fork has 125 mm of travel, while the double rear shock absorber is adjustable in five positions.

The instrumentation is in charge of a huge TFT screen of 7 “which gives the essential information (it does not report consumption), yes, of three different ways. In fact, people of more than 180 cm may feel a little fit. With my 178 cm of height I do not usually have problems, nor with the ADX 300, but I could perceive that I am at the upper limit of those that can be considered comfortable.
The weight of the set is in 200 kilos in the order of march, in line with their rivals, all of them background being more robust. The 16 -liter deposit predicts long stretches without reposting, although we could not check its autonomy. We will leave it for a thorough test or a comparison.

Under the seat there is a hole for an integral helmet and there is still space for a backpack. There is a trunk as an option, as well as blanket and lock. It is not ruled out that it may include connectivity in the future.

The same happens when starting the march. The 26 hp and 26 Nm engine may not be the fastest, but it develops with ease for the 200 kilos in a gear order that weighs Adx 300. In the choice of the adjustment of the variator between acceleration and peak speed, the second slightly prioritizes.

The route was beautiful and gave to check the dynamic qualities of ADX 300, more in favor of maintaining the speed of curve than to “kill her” in braking. Flowing with her chaining trace is very fun. On good firm roads, fun is assured. Little we could roll by urban atmosphere, but enough to verify that it is the main environment where the ADX 300 will be developed and for which it is well prepared.
Nor did we want to ignore their qualities on some dirt road, more inclined than I expected to save the scooter, both on rise and down. What does not admit is the driving standing, when the posture is somewhat forced, but the transit calmed by paths and paths.

Although brake handles are not adjustable, braking is easy to dose, even more using handles at the same time. Throughout the day I did not have the slightest complaint of the brakes, even in sports driving, for which they are well sized.
The final sensation is that of a well finished product, of remarkable and predictable behavior and that gives a lot for € 4,599. In the times, it is a great virtue.
