Following the presentation of the new Pulse and Origin, Can-Am is back in action with this one Canyona tricycle with Offroad capabilities that is now available for reservation with a rate starting from from $25,299, a little over 22,700 euros at the current exchange rate. Although, if it reaches our country, it is very likely that this figure will increase substantially. In fact, and for the moment, the model does not appear on the official website of the brand in our country.
In any case, we are looking at the “GS Adventure” of tricycles, as our colleagues at Motorcycle, one of the first to echo this novelty, call it. They do so by letting themselves be carried away by some aesthetic similarities that both models share, especially with regard to the side panels and flat surfaces that concern their general design.
Can-Am Canyon 2025: 3 highly prepared versions
The new Offroad tricycle from the Canadian firm is now available in three equipment versions: Standard, XT and Redrock. They all share the same dynamic (3 wheels) and mechanical configuration. Regarding the latter, we find a 1,330 cc three-cylinder Rotax enginewater-cooled and fed by an electronic injection system. This is associated with a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox with cam system.
This propellant is capable of generating up to 115 hp of power at 7,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 130.1 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The performance compendium can be managed through 4 driving modes (Sport, All-Road, Rally, Normal) that adapt the engine to the specific driving conditions at any given time.
At the chassis level, the Canyon has a suspension equipped with Sachs shock absorbers on both axles. The XT version includes a self-levelling Sachs, while the top-of-the-range variant, the Redrock, is equipped with semi-active KYB Smart Shox shock absorbers at the front and rear respectively. These are combined with a set of alloy wheels fitted with XPS Adventure tyres in sizes 155/65 R16 at the front and 225/50 R15 at the rear.
Braking, on the other hand, includes 270 mm discs on each wheel, actuated by 4-piston calipers on the front axle and single-piston calipers on the single wheel at the rear. All this is combined with a top-level electronic package which includes, among others:
- Stability control system
- Traction control system
- ABS
- Dynamic power steering
- Hill Hold Control (HCH)
This technological compendium can be managed via the enormous 10.25-inch full-colour TFT screen. It also houses other functions such as BRP Connect and Apple CarPlay.
The audio system has USB Bluetooth, while the rest of the functions of the instrument panel provide us with a multitude of functions among which the following stand out: speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip and hour meters, average fuel consumption, gear position, driving modes, custom mode, temperature, engine lights, electronic fuel gauge, clock and more.
All three versions of the Canyon come standard with highlights such as LED lighting, an adjustable driver’s backrest, an electrically adjustable windscreen with memory, heated seats for the driver and passenger, adjustable upper and lower side wind deflectors and cruise control. The XT and Redrock versions add additional features such as aluminium top and side cases, a passenger backrest and a reversing camera, depending on the version.
Thus, the new Cam-Am Canyon 2025 range would initially look like this:
- Can-Am Canyon standard: Price from 25,299 euros (22,708 euros)
- Can-Am Canyon XT: Price from $29,799 (26,747 euros)
- Can-Am Canyon Redrock: Price from $32,399 (28,991 euros)
