24MX HIXPANIA HARD Enduro 2025 in detail
From September 19 to 21the 24mx Hixpania Hard Enduro 2025 returns to Aguilar de Campoo, (Palencia), being also the only Spanish event of the FIM Hard Enduro World Cup. The town will host what is already the ninth edition of the event, thus becoming the longest test of the FIM World Championship and the only one that is disputed in Spanish territory.
In this edition they will participate More than 180 pilots of 22 nationalitiesdistributed in two categories: Knights (Pro Level), where the best riders in the world compete, and hyxpanos (medium level), designed for experienced amateurs pilots. Among them stands out the female presence of Sandra Gómez, international reference of Hard Enduro, who will compete with the great favorites of the championship such as Manuel Lettenbichler, Billy Bolt, Graham Jarvis or the Spanish Mario Román.
The competition will start on Friday, September 19 with the opening of the paddock and commercial area, and the recognition of the track on foot by the pilots. On Saturday 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the timed sections will be played that will decide Sunday’s departure. In the afternoon, the Palencia town will be filled with a show with the presentation of FIM Pro pilots, the Paseo de Banderas with more than 200 motorcycles touring the streets of Aguilar and an acrobatic trial show in the Plaza de España.
On Sunday 21 will arrive the expected Final Hixpania – The Lost Road, which will put the gold brooch at a historic weekend for the hard enduro. Last year Hixpania brought together more than 10,000 spectators, a figure that is expected to be overcome in this edition thanks to the international pull of the championship, the spectacularity of the program and the good weather forecast for those dates.
The championship arrives at Aguilar with the very tight classification. Manuel Lettenbichler and Billy Bolt depart as the main candidates for victory: Lettenbichler has won several times in Hixpania and Bolt took the victory in 2024. The Spanish pilot Mario Román, usual for the positions of honor, will seek to make history before his audience.
The Diputación de Palencia, the Junta de Castilla y León and the City of Aguilar de Campoo support the appointment, which makes the Palencia mountain every September into the international epicenter of the Hard Enduro. The event attracts thousands of spectators every year with an important economic impact in hospitality and rural tourism.
