Among them the use of a 578 cc V-twin mechanics that promises an above-average level of performance, as explained by Cycle World’s colleagues. Its objective is clear: Beat models at the level of the well-known Honda Rebel 500 or Kawasaki Eliminator.
Kove 600 Lancer 2025: First details
According to the first information that has been leaked about this 600 Lancer, we can confirm that it is equipped with a new V-shaped engine made by the Asian brand itself. With internal dimensions of 72 mm x 71 mm, in terms of diameter and stroke, the brand declares a final displacement of 578 cc. In addition, it approves a maximum power of 60.3 HP, taking the lead in this aspect compared to its most direct rivals.
On a technical level we are faced with a DOHC type engine, cooled by water and associated with a six-speed gearbox, while the transmission is carried out by means of a toothed belt.
This is anchored to a double tubular steel cradle chassis, while at the rear we find a conventional double-arm swingarm. For the suspension, the 600 Lancer uses an inverted front fork and a pair of shock absorbers anchored to its rear axle.
The assembly rests on 18 and 16 inch alloy wheels, front and rear respectively, shod with tires measuring 120/70 and 160/60. Kove relies on a braking system composed of a disc installed on each axle, with a four-piston front caliper and radial mounting signed by Taisko. The equipment is sufficient to conveniently stop the 200 kilos in running order that the brand declares.
Other interesting details in terms of figures are, for example, a wheelbase of 1,491mm or an approved top speed of 170km/h. At the equipment level, the 600 Lancer has, among others, a full-color, circular TFT instrument panel, Full-LED lighting, two-height seat or rear grab handle for the passenger.
For now there are no details on its official launch date in China or the possibility that Kove will make it available to its potential customers in Europe or the US. Undoubtedly, if our continent arrives, it will almost certainly have a limited variant at 48 CV, intended for all those holders of the current A2 license.
