It may not be the most special or unique name for a film in which the motorcycle has a certain weight. But this is what Lola Quivoron’s feature film that deals with an uncomfortable but real universe is called that of the “Cross-bitume”.
You may not have heard or read anything about that term, but it is the one that in France is used to define those who move with cross motorcycles on the asphalt. But the reality behind “Cross-bitume” is much more disturbing and cloudy, because in most cases motorcycles is not only legal to circulate on the street, but are stolen and conduct them bands of criminals.
The film follows the plot of Julia’s life, a passionate of the motocross that ends in that complicated environment. It infiltrates one of those groups and from there begins a plot in which, under the pretext of motorcycles, Rodeo, it is about social dilemmas and human relations within a marginal world.

The film was presented at the Cannes Festival and since 2023 can be found in our neighboring country on DVD around 10 euros. But it is also available on demand on different streaming platforms, including Filmin.
An opportunity to enjoy in Spanish a different movie in which, although the plot you do not like, at least you can see some Honda Cr, Yamaha Yzf, KTM SX and Kawasaki Kx in addition to Quad doing Stunt exercises.
