Peugeot Motocycles has had within its offer, for a long time, such well-known models as the XP6XP7 and XR6. Now, on the occasion of EICMA 2025, it will announce, among others, its new XP6 Supermotard, XP6 Supermotard R, and XP6 Endurothus reaffirming its commitment to meeting the continuous demand of enthusiasts attracted by the simplicity and mechanical accessibility of 2-stroke engines.
New Peugeot XP6 range in detail
As a main feature, all three models are equipped with the Minarelli AM6 2-stroke single-cylinder engine, water-cooled and fed by a 16 mm Dellorto carburetor. This is associated with a 6-speed gearbox, offering precise control over power delivery, for smooth adaptation to any driving situation.
A model aimed at a young audience, from the age of 15 in Spain, in search of a first experience on two wheels, exciting and rewarding, to move in style in the city or on the road, enjoying a design inspired by the paddocks and modern instrumentation with its digital dashboard.
While the XP6 Supermotard mounts specific tires and offers powerful disc brakes (300 mm at the front) and a racing chassis, the XP6 Supermotard R variant also includes 17-inch spoked wheels and its inverted front fork with a diameter of 41 mm.
For its part, the XP6 Enduro R is equipped with spoked wheels (21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear), Offroad tires, an inverted front fork with wide suspension travel and high ground clearance, adapted to demanding terrain. Together, the three models consolidate themselves as key references to explore the world of motorcycling, on and off the road.
Among the main characteristics of the model we can highlight, depending on the version chosen:
- Supermotard: Racing chassis, supermotard tires and 300 mm front disc brakes.
- Supermotard R: 17-inch wheels, supermotard tires, powerful disc brakes (300 mm front) and inverted front fork.
- Enduro: 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, Offroad Tires and 41 mm inverted front fork.
