The Aprilia Tuareg 457 is at a very advanced stage in its development. It is a statement that may sound bold, but thanks to the images that are circulating on the internet and that we can see, it is clear that the motorcycle is already in the testing phase.
What is clear is that the Aprilia Tuareg 457 has been riding in the desert, in fact, it has been participating in the Africa Eco Race piloted by Marco Menichini as confirmed by the friends of Moto.it.
In fact, the Italian media has been able to investigate a little more, and gives us some figures and performance that make it clear to us that the Aprilia Tuareg 457 is more than ready and that, in fact, it could be prepared to be one of the news that the Noale firm will bring to EICMA in a few days.
The first data about the Aprilia Tuareg 457 tell us about a series version and a racing version
We are talking about the twin-cylinder engine offering 47.6 HP at 9,400 rpm as standard, therefore being at the power limit for the A2, essentially being born as a motorcycle for that permit with the advantages that this entails. But we know that there will be a competition version, a rally version, that will reach 55 HP, going up to 10,500 rpm and achieving a maximum speed of 170 kilometers per hour.
Therefore, we know that there will be a street version and a competition version and it has also been leaked that the dry weight will be 160 kg, something that we will have to confirm when we officially know the data.
As with the Tuareg 660, the chassis will be made of steel and the swingarm will be made of aluminum. In the same way, at least in the racing version, the suspensions will be carried out by Öhlins with preparation by Andreani. As for the price of the rally version, there are no figures on the table, but it is speculated that the street model could be around 7,000 euros, which would be a highly competitive figure.
However, we will have to wait for the next few days to find out more details, because there is no doubt that at the EICMA we will have more news about the Aprilia Tuareg 457.
