When we first knew the HF355 project that Maxwell Hazan was carrying out, he immediately caught our attention. After all, it is not usual for someone to have a Ferrari F355 engine and think that putting it on a motorcycle is viable. In fact, it is almost the opposite of what one would look for on a motorcycle due to excess power, weight and torque that a brutal V8 can have. But everyone has their challenges.
And Hazan was precisely to give life to what has called HF355, which is already a unique piece and we would dare to say, collector. After months of work creating the whole motorcycle from the engine, now we can see it move with it.
Do not forget that all the work has been totally handmade, looking for solutions to the challenge that implies having a large engine that conditions the general design of the motorcycle, and that makes the HF355 particularly long even though we do not know the dimensions.
As for the motorcycle and compared to what we could see a few months ago, it seems that at the technical level there have been no modifications that are obvious. That does not mean that there has not been any change that cannot be appreciated, but in general terms the important thing is maintained.
That is, the engine is still an autoporting, the aluminum tilting with connecting rods, the Öhlins suspension system, the Brembo brakes, the SC Project escapes and the gas tank is part of the subchasis, going one step further than the MotoGP.

Where there are important changes is the aesthetics section. And for the first time we can see the HF355 dressed, if not total, partially. Hazan has created a carbon front following a sports line, and also including some small alloys that finish giving him a sporty touch.
It has also created all the coating of what would be the area of the fuel tank that, as we say, seeing the bare motorcycle can be verified that it is not its real placement. But in the same way the saddle has built, under which it is part of the fuel tank and also the hill, the place where we can appreciate the gas cap.
And all in carbon and carried out in a totally handmade process that departed, modeling in polyethylene the forms that later became mold before the final result.
Now that HF355 is a reality and that we know that it is capable of moving to check if the choice has been correct as, for example, the placement of the radiators. Without a direct air entrance and without, at least for the moment, a conduit that force the entrance, the reliability can be affected.
In any case, there is no doubt that the work has been meticulous and the striking result.
