The Himalayan 750 will arrive next year, but we already have a preview

Just a few days ago we fantasized about the idea that Royal Enfield could officially present the final version of its long-awaited Himalayan 750, on the occasion of Motoverse 2025.

A possibility that ultimately has not materialized and that now, thanks to the interview held between MCN colleagues and B. Govindarajan, CEO of the brand, clarifies all doubts about the development of the model and the times decided by the Indo-British firm for this purpose.

The development of the Himalayan 750 continues in process

We assume that if you regularly follow the updates on the future Himalayan 750, it will not be necessary to explain that it is one of the most anticipated novelties, both by followers of the brand and militant fans of the ADV segment. In any case, after the recent statements by Royal Enfield CEO, B. Govindarajan, it is quite clear that the model still has some time to become a registered street version.

Although we took for granted its officialization this past weekend at Motoverse 2025, an event in which the firm has presented its new racing variant of the future Continental GT 750, it will finally not be until at least the next edition of the Milan Motor Show when the new Royal Enfield flagship will be presented to society. As Govindarajan himself confirmed: “I think we will have to wait until the next EICMA.”

New details about the future Himalayan 750 confirm its presentation no before EICMA 2026

Continues: “It’s a concept and we have to test it. We have to see it from the consumer’s perspective. The Himalayas are our spiritual world. We always take the bike there. The concept has gone very well. We are testing it. You may have seen some of us participating and posting it (on social media) because we love it. And the love is still there. And we may have to wait until next time (at EICMA).”

What they did show in this latest edition of the Milanese show was precisely that concept to which the CEO of Royal Enfield refers. The same one that we had already seen on other occasions since last summer when the brand’s leaders posed smiling, along with the long-awaited Himalayan 750 and Himalayan EV, both in prototype form. Subsequently, we have seen test mules of the model in versions with spoked wheels (19” at the front), and alloy wheels, measuring 17” on both axles.

In any case, regardless of the moment in which the model is finally officially presented, such relevant aspects as a new engine with a displacement of around 750 cc are confirmed. Maintaining the parallel twin-cylinder configuration, a final power is expected around 55 hp and a maximum torque of the order of 60Nm.

Also a good level of electronics and equipment, including a complete TFT-type instrument panel, which could vary depending on the version of the model, Full-LED lighting, rear luggage rack, engine side guards or a strong skid plate that allows us to drive with all the guarantees on and off the road. We will be attentive to new updates on the subject.
