Giulio Maceroni, a well -known guitarist within Italian music, has recently participated in two collaboration projects with the Yamaha transalpine subsidiary. Giulio Maceroni fusing music and motorcycles
As explained from the local media Insella, Giulio Maceroni is a 39 -year -old Roman guitarist who has focused on different projects where music with other varied resources has focused. For example, a wind tunnel or a mobile recording studio. In addition, it is known for collaborating with some international engine competitions, including MotoGP, MXGP, WSBK.
He has also recently done the same with Yamaha, in two projects where Maceroni himself has accepted a priori challenges impossible to carry out. For example, touching the guitar inside the largest wind tunnel in Europe and with an air flow blowing vertically at a speed of no less than 265 km/h.
With the body totally suspended, Giulio Maceroni reinterpreted one of Vivaldi’s most famous pieces to the rhythm marked by the notes he managed to touch in such circumstances. The Roman had the help and collaboration of Aerogravity to prepare physically and mentally to face this demanding test. This Magrabò initiative also participated, the company in charge of manufacturing a special strap to be able to anchor the guitar to the artist’s body.
On the other hand, and almost parallel, Maceroni made up a melody using the sounds emitted by a racing bike in full performance. Specifically, those of the bike that use in the Giant of Team Jayco Alula, from these of the gears, brakes, radios or gear changes, among others. As explained from Insella:
“The project, born during the Tour of Italy, is now a video that tells an unprecedented symphony: the one that hides behind each pedal.
