Mahindra-owned Classic Legends has recently introduced the new Jawa 42 2025, a model that comes loaded with new features and also reduces its initial price by almost 10%. About the launch has spoken Anupam Tharejaco-founder of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles:

Until Fourteen color combinationsin glossy and matte finishes, is what the brand offers us in its new Jawa 42. These combine the model’s neo-retro classicism with new aesthetic touches of modernity that give it a more solid and sporty touch. To achieve this, the Indian firm introduces finishes with darkened parts in its cycle and mechanical parts.
Other aspects, such as the arrival of a new headlight, front screen or a seat whose shapes have been modified to improve ergonomics, are also part of the updates carried out on the Jawa 42. Mechanically, the new 294cc J-Panther engine It maintains the same displacement, but incorporates internal structural changes that help improve its performance in general terms.
The water-cooled single-cylinder engine declares a final power of 27 HP and 26.8 Nm of maximum torquecarried to the rear wheel by means of the new 6-speed gearbox with anti-rebound clutch. The block is anchored to the same double-cradle chassis of the previous generation, supported by a front telescopic fork and a pair of rear lateral shock absorbers. The base of the pilot’s seat is now 785 mm from the ground.
Braking, on the other hand, is achieved by means of two disc brakes, one per axle, assisted by a dual-channel ABS system. Other aspects to highlight, depending on the version chosen, are, for example, the use of alloy or radial wheels. Also, and as a novelty, the Jawa 42 uses a new LCD instrument panel, inherited directly from the 42 Bobber and the current Yezdi.
