The latest Harley preparation “Made in LDK”

The Lord Drake Kustoms preparation “factory” never ceases to surprise us with works like this intimidating VROD 300 Black&Red. A Harley customization that mixes muscle and elegance, under a strong black color scheme with red details. A truly exclusive motorcycle like many others that we have already shown you in SMN. Here some of them:

Harley-Davidson VROD 300 Black&Red in detail

Francisco Ali Manén (owner of LDK), received a call from a client from Portugal who wanted a customized Harley-Davidson Vrod and, after a while of conversation, the decision was made that it would be a Night Rod Special with wide rear wheel kit. Although a 260 mm tire was initially considered, a 300 mm tire was finally chosen.

The motorcycle used as a platform for the project was chosen by Manen himself; a V-Rod Nightrod Special from the last year of manufacture of the model. A perfect base for this work that already has, among its standard equipment, an inverted front fork and also uses the powerful engine 1,250 cc 60º V-Twin Revolution.

The brand declares a maximum power of 120 HP and nothing less than 115 Nm at 7,000 rpm. All of this goes to the huge rear tire installed on the specific rim for it. Although first all the relevant modifications had to be made to the swingarm, subframe and rear suspension in order to be able to fit the widening kit on this VROD 300 Black&Red.

A Legend air suspension for Harley models is another of the details to highlight in the modification of a V-Rod like this one, along with the exhausts, license plate holder, body parts, fenders, seat and an endless number of small elements hand-made by Lord Drake Kustoms for this project.

Other notable details include, for example, the LED taillight integrated into the rear fender, or the black seat upholstery with double diamond-shaped red stitching. As for the paint, the attractive candy red colour stands out, used to break up the almost exclusive dominance of black, as well as serving to highlight the sinews and muscles of the impressive bodywork of this model.
