For all those looking for sports gloves with a clear urban inspiration, Five Glovesthe French brand specialized in motorcycle equipment, has just announced the new RSX. A model that, according to themselves, is, in addition to “innovative, affordable and really attractive”, the first in its segment to incorporate TPU protection with matte/glossy finish.
Five RSX in detail
Made of 4-way stretch Spandex fabric, Five Gloves’ new RSX includes full-grain goatskin on the palm, as well as a Nash reinforcement. In addition, the embossed neoprene wristband offers greater comfort and fit from the first moment. Another notable detail in its manufacturing is, for example, having elastic nylon on the edges of the fingers.
At the bottom of the toe forks, the Five RSX uses Powernet nylon, while the metacarpophalangeal protection is a single piece in Ergo Protech and is dual injection molded. Likewise, in the hypothenar area (palm slider) it has another soft Ergo Protech protection made of TPR.
Other notable features of the new Five RSX gloves would be:
- Thumb with Twill Span construction
- Protective TPR reinforcements on the fingers
- TPR tongue + Velcro closure system with comfort mesh reinforcement and pull tab
- Hi-Res Grip palm reinforcement for optimal grip
- Touch Screen system on the index and thumb
- CE KP1 approval
