The new one Carmona speed circuit is about to become a reality for the delight of fans, especially those from Andalusia and even more specifically all those who live in the capital of Seville, Seville, or its surroundings. The new track is located just over 15 minutes by car from the latter, making it very accessible from almost any point in the province of Seville.
More than four years have passed since the idea began to take shape within Spain Circuit Group, with David Garcia at the head of the project and Maria Gomez as Manager of the company. It was in June 2023 when, after a long road plagued by bureaucratic obstacles, the works could begin on the land located in Carmona and with a Total area of 56 hectares.
Carmona Speed Circuit: The third largest track in the country
One of the main characteristics of the Carmona Speed Circuit is its length. With 4,230 meters becomes the third longest track we have in Spainbehind only Motorland Aragón (5,077 metres) and the Circuit de Barcelona (4,675 metres). With 16 turns, ten to the right and six to the left, the straight has a total distance of 822 metres.
Other relevant data of the Carmona Speed Circuit are, for example, having a 30,000 m² paddock or 35 boxes of about 100 m² each. The restaurant located on the circuit premises has a total surface area of 340 m², while the press room occupies another 240 m² of the total. A medical centre or a set of spaces used as offices are also part of the facilities of the Carmona Speed Circuit.
It will be the next september the moment chosen by the management company to inaugurate the new facilities. This would become the 7th circuit that fans can currently enjoy in the Andalusian community, the fourth of which is owned by Spain Circuit Group.
In addition to hosting top-level events, it will also be used, among other things, to hold driving courses, free sessions or basic and introductory championships.
