The new TRK 902 Xplorer is equipped with the well-known twin-cylinder engine that we have seen so far in the brand’s 800 models. However, those from Pesaro have increased its internal levels until they managed to extract from it 904cc, compared to the initial 754 cc declared by this mechanics. As a result we have a final power of 98.6 HP and up to 90 Nm of maximum torque.
On the other hand, the throttle body has been retouched, increasing its diameter by 3 mm, now counting at 46 mm, in addition to enabling the homologation of the TRK 902 Xplorer in accordance with the new Euro5+.
In addition, the Italian brand has worked conscientiously on the chassis, where it now equips a high-strength steel tubular chassis, 50 mm inverted front fork and rear monoshock with rebound and preload adjustment. This equipment allows for 200 mm of travel on both axles and up to 230 mm of ground clearance from its lowest part.
A noteworthy fact in the new TRK 902 inches on the rear axle. These are shod with Pirelli Scorpion Rally tires, while in front braking we have two 320 mm discs and Brembo monobloc calipers 4 pistons.
The dry weight approved by Benelli is 235kgto which we must add the 22 liters of fuel that they take in their tank, leaving the seat located at 865mm from the ground. Other relevant aspects of the model are related to the electronic and equipment section. Here the TRK 902 Xplorer should have Traction Control, disconnectable ABS and different driving modes, although the brand has not yet commented on these details.
On the other hand, we do know that it is equipped with a 7-inch color TFT instrument panel equipped with navigation connectivity functions. It also has fog lights, a tire pressure sensor and an electronically adjustable front windshield.
Now it remains to know what its final price will be and the date on which Benelli will offer it on the European continent, although its arrival at the brand’s dealerships is estimated for probably the last quarter of next 2025.
