The rocket bike with a truly unique “space finish”

The EVE Odyssey It’s not a bike designed for everyday use. It’s not a bike designed for comfort, and of course, it has very limited utility. But none of those things are what you want in a bike that’s inspired by the space age, although this is a bit of a confusing concept because more rockets are being launched into space than ever before, and it’s not a rocket bike like the ones we’ve seen before.

Anyway, let’s leave semantics aside and focus on this piece that is so difficult to classify, the EVE Odyssey. It is a machine created by Bandit 9 and unlike his other works, this cannot be considered a preparation because except for the engine, nothing belonged to the original bike.

In fact, the engine is the least important thing on the EVE Odyssey. So much so that the only information we have about it is that it is a 125cc Honda single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. And not only that, there is more public data on the materials that make up the bike than on the parts we are used to measuring.

The EVE Odyssey weighs only 120 kg

For example, we know that the whole thing is light and weighs 120 kg, but we don’t know the dimensions of the tank, the wheelbase or the suspension travel. What’s more important when you have a rocket bike?

But there are things we do know and that is that you can buy the bike from anywhere in the world, although the price is unknown. On the other hand, we do know that it takes a craftsman three months to make each unit, so we are sure that we could be looking at one of the most expensive 125s you can buy today.

We also know that the aesthetics they were looking for, which was similar to that of a projectile, have been made to fit with the elements that the motorcycle should have, such as the lights and the controls. Although to be honest, it doesn’t seem like they thought about the indicators and it lacks the rearview mirrors and the license plate holder.

Everything is integrated into this bullet-shaped motorcycle

In any case, this piece of design made of aluminium is proof that not everything has been invented and that you can always go one step further. Perhaps they have gone two or three steps further and left aside some basic aspects, but what is clear is that wherever you appear with the EVE Odyssey or if it is displayed anywhere, it will not stop being admired. Probably, that is its function.
