The Scrambler 1200 #003/250 and the Tiger 900 #001/250 Bond Edition, owned by British actor Daniel Craig and stars of the 25th installment of the 007 saga “No time to die”, were auctioned just a few days ago in Staffordshire, United Kingdom, through Bonhams | Cars Motorcycles.
As we already told you before the auction date, these, signed in Craig’s handwriting, would be awarded to the highest bidder to raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the largest sea lifesaving charity in the UK. the United Kingdom.
The Bond Edition auctioned for a good cause
Craig himself spoke about this with his MCN colleagues, stating that: “The RNLI has always been close to my heart. “The Tiger 900 Bond Edition is inspired by the incredible, category-dominating Tiger 900 Rally Pro, which appears in incredible stunt sequences in the 2021 James Bond film, No Time to Die, starring Daniel Craig as ‘007.’ .” Regarding the 2020 Triumph Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition, Bonhams explains that:
“In December 2019, Triumph had announced a new official partnership with EON Productions, revealing dynamic action featuring Triumph motorcycles in the upcoming 25th ‘James Bond’ film, No Time to Die, starring Daniel Craig. To celebrate this historic collaboration, Triumph proudly unveiled the first official motorcycle directly linked to the James Bond franchise.”
Finally, the Tiger 900 Bond Edition was sold for 32,000 pounds, just over 38,000 euros, while the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition reached a final figure of 28,000 pounds, about 33,500 euros in exchange.
Winners of both bids will also enjoy a driving experience at the Triumph Adventure Experience in Wales, UK, with Bond stunt coordinator Lee Morrison and ‘007’ stunt double Paul Edmondson.
