The Suzuki e-Address will arrive in Europe. This is the Japanese electric scooter in detail

What do we know about the Suzuki e-Address?

The president of suzuki, Toshihiro Suzukideclared during the fair: “Suzuki will introduce various models of BEV (battery electric vehicles) to achieve a carbon-neutral society. In addition to electric vehicles, we offer a variety of other options, including synthetic fuels, hydrogen engines and biofuels. It is obvious, our objective is to satisfy the expectations of society and customers”.

Although they are already a little late, in January 2023, suzuki confirmed that its first electric model would arrive in 2024 and, in addition, they committed to manufacturing eight electric vehicles by 2030. In fact, they have also discussed at length an innovative, multi-track approach to achieving carbon neutrality.

Of course, last year they committed to investing 15 billion euros in R&D across all operations, in addition to another 18 billion in capital expenditures by 2030. As a matter of fact, the brand states that 4 billion of that amount They will be used for battery-related investments.

While this recent announcement is only for the Indian market, we hope to announce details of a version of e-Address for launch in the European market later this year”.

Designed to appeal to drivers with all levels of experience, the e-Address It arrives with a claimed seat height of just 765mm and a curb weight of 122kg. It also declares 5.5 hp of power and 15 Nm of torque. Logically, it is powered by a fixed lithium iron phosphate battery, which will charge from 0 to 100% in 6.7 hours and a range of 90 km.
