The Brixton Storr 500, one of the most anticipated motorcycles in the A2 segment, has finally confirmed its arrival on the European market in 2025. This news was confirmed during the EICMA 2024, where the importer presented the final version of this adventure motorcycle designed for the mixed lands.
Its initial success in China under the Gaokin brand, with an approximate price of 3,789 euros, has aroused great interest among European enthusiasts who, after a long wait, will now be able to get their hands on it.
Design and features of the Brixton Storr 500
Inspired by the name “Storr”, which means “indestructible rock” in Scotland, the Brixton Storr 500 presents itself with a robust and sophisticated appearance. Its design combines solid lines with modern details, providing not only strength but also elegance in every curve. This model comes equipped with crash protection, a tire pressure sensor, fog lights and a USB port, making it an option ready for both rough roads and everyday use.
In terms of ergonomics, its seat height of 839 mm offers a dominant posture, ideal for comfortable but at the same time sporty driving. Visually, its 16-liter fuel tank stands out, a notable increase compared to the 13.5 liters of the Crossfire XC, and its structure specifically designed to withstand large loads, with a large luggage rack perfect for long adventure trips.
Technology and equipment of the Brixton Storr 500
The Brixton Storr 500 is based on the Crossfire XC chassis, although it incorporates a raised rear subframe and redesigned side panels, which merge with the windshield in a new way. This model includes a slightly sloped exhaust and a massive luggage rack, details that highlight its focus on versatility and payload.
The heart of the Storr 500 is a 486 cc parallel twin engine that generates 48 HP and 43 Nm of torque, perfect for the A2 license. This engine, remotely related to that of Honda’s CB series, is mated to a six-speed transmission, ensuring stable and flexible performance both on and off road. Furthermore, the braking system consists of Xihu brake calipers and a switchable two-channel ABS, while a current TFT display offers the necessary information.
To guarantee absolute control on any type of terrain, the Storr 500 has high quality components in its suspension system. Equipped with KYB elements, the model incorporates an adjustable compression fork with a travel of 150 mm at the front, and a rear shock absorber adjustable in preload and rebound, with a travel of 130 mm. The wheels, 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear, allow balanced behavior both on steep terrain and on urban roads.
Launch and availability in Europe of the Brixton Storr 500
After a long process that began with the presentation of the first concept at EICMA 2022, the development of the Storr 500 has overcome various challenges, including a financial restructuring of its parent company, the KSR Group, which slowed its arrival at dealerships. Finally, the final version under the Brixton brand will be launched in Europe in 2025, and is expected to be available in colors such as matte Sage Green and matte Royal Blue.
The announcement has generated excitement among A2 motorcycle fans, who will now be able to enjoy this robust and stylish adventure motorcycle designed for the challenges of European terrain. With complete equipment, a resistant structure and performance in line with the standards of its segment, the Brixton Storr 500 promises to be one of the most outstanding options in the world of travel enduros.
