These are the motorcycles that explain the great leap of the Chinese brand

kovethe Chinese brand founded less than a decade ago, continues to consolidate its positioning on the international motorcycle scene. The firm not only continues to grow in the main markets, but also converts this trend into a direct consequence of its competitive DNA, transferring all the experience acquired in the most demanding scenarios of world motorcycling to the street.

The results achieved in China, the sustained growth in Spain and the successes in competitions as diverse as the WorldSSP300, Dakar or EnduRoc They confirm that Kove is no longer a promise: it has become a reference within the two-wheeled sector. This is thanks, among other aspects, to building motorcycles born from the highest competitive demands and putting that technology at the service of all users.

Kove leads the Adventure and Sport segments in China

Last March, Kove managed to establish itself as the leader in two of the most strategic segments of the Chinese market, Adventure and Sports. In the first, the main protagonist has been his model 625Xbecoming the best-selling motorcycle in its category with a total of 1,291 units enrolledsurpassing the model that occupies second position by more than 53%.

This medium-displacement trail is equipped with a 581 cc twin-cylinder engine capable of developing 48 kW. It stands out for its lightness, its advanced chassis with fully adjustable KYB suspensions and its extensive equipment, which includes elements such as traction control, TFT screen with mirroring connectivity, heated grips or seat.

That same leadership has been repeated in the sports motorcycle segment, where the Kove 450RR has led sales for the month of March with 1,894 units soldplacing it 67.6% above the second best-selling motorcycle in its category. The 450RR, which was present at the last edition of the EICMA in the special “Isle of Man” edition, is equipped with a 443 cc DOHC inline four-cylinder engine.

This develops 52 kW at 13,000 rpm and 39 Nm at 10,500 rpmalso incorporating an extra 3 HP thanks to the RAM Air system. All this on a set of just 165kgwith trellis-type chassis, fully adjustable KYB suspensions, Taisko double front disc brakes, QuickShifter, traction control (TCS) and dual ABS. As confirmed by the brand itself, the arrival of both models on the Spanish market is planned for the coming months.

Kove goes full throttle in our market

During 2025, the brand has already managed to double its sales in Spain, consolidating a growth trend that not only continues, but accelerates in 2026. One of the levers of this growth is its flagship, the 800X PRO, which in the first quarter of the year has achieved triple sales in the first quarter of 2025 thus consolidating itself as one of the great references within the Adventure segment.

The 800X PRO has become one of the most representative models of the brand thanks to an interesting proposal led by its lightness, power and value for money. Thanks to its 799 cc twin-cylinder engine and 95 HP, a dry weight of 178 kg (the lightest in its category). With a configuration designed for both road and off-road, the model has positioned itself as one of the favorite models for the most demanding “Motard” public looking for an authentic high-performance trail ride.

Kove in competition: where it all begins

If something defines Kove, it is that its commercial growth is always accompanied by sporting results. The brand has built its identity on a very clear premise: compete to learn, evolve and transfer that evolution to its series motorcycles. That principle reached one of its greatest historical milestones in 2025 with the conquest of the WorldSSP300 World Championship together with Benat Fernandezbecoming the first Chinese manufacturer to win a world championship in this category.

The young Spanish driver had an outstanding season in his first year in the championship, achieving three victories, ten podiums, one pole position, five fastest laps and leading five races until becoming champion in the last round of the calendar held at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit. This victory meant much more than a title: it confirmed that the Kove 321 RR-S and the sports development of the brand could compete and win at the highest international level.

The experience obtained in the championship has also reinforced the brand’s strategy in the development of its sports models, consolidating that direct connection between track and street. And in the 2025-2026 season Kove never stops surprising: just a week ago, always with Beñat Fernández at the controls, the new Super Sport 450RR has established a new fastest lap record on the Assen circuit in its category (WorldSSP300).

But Kove’s competitive DNA is not limited to the asphalt. That same competitive spirit was also reflected in the EnduRoc 2025, where the Chinese firm had a dominant performance in the Trail category with an enormously prestigious double. Marc Truyols took the victory and Javi Vega achieved second position, both at the controls of the 800X Rally, consolidating the brand as one of the great references of the most demanding off-road.

The test, held in Les Comes on a particularly technical course, once again highlighted the balance between power, lightness and control that defines the 800X Rally, transferring the competition experience directly to the most adventurous user. Likewise, at the Dakar 2026, the brand once again demonstrated its ambition by signing one of its most important performances to date.

In its fourth participation, the Kove 450 Rally managed to enter the Top 5 in the Original by Motul category with Javi Vega, in addition to placing a second motorcycle within the Top 10 thanks to Andrea Gava. Added to this was Neels Theric’s great milestone in Rally 2, where he achieved three consecutive stage victories, allowing him to become the first and only Chinese brand to win stages in the Dakar in this category.
