Among them stands out, above any other, the addition of a new “made in Italy” mechanics to replace the previous engine built in China by Zongshen.

Let us remember that until this year the Caballero 500 was powered by a 449 cc, water-cooled, four-stroke single-cylinder, declaring a power of 40 HP at 7,500 rpm along with a maximum torque of 43 Nm at 6,000 revolutions.

This change in the Caballero 500 2025 range for next season not only represents a change of direction in current decision-making within the two-wheeled sector. In addition, the well-known transalpine model improves the final performance, compared to the 2024 version, by a 15%. On the other hand, it manages to exceed the demanding Euro5+ regulations in anti-pollution matters.

The brand itself calls its new propeller as “compact and ultralight, weighing less than 40 kg”. Likewise, it has a forged piston that allows high rotation speeds, while the shapes of the cylinder head facilitate a balanced design of the bike, especially around the tank area.

The slipper clutch, Ride-by-Wire system or the different engine maps, customizable depending on the version, also contribute to an even more effective and efficient overall operation. In performance terms, the Caballero 500 2025 declares a final power of 45 HP at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 42.4 Nm at 7,000 revolutions.

All of them share common elements in their chassis and equipment, such as the new single-beam steel frame or the front fork equipped with a refined hydraulic system with an improved set of valves and designed for off-road use. At the rear we find a new shock absorber that offers optimized preload for greater stability and traction in off-road conditions.

All of this is possible thanks to an IMU that enables these technological options in terms of advanced security.
