Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman are back on the road. This time they do not face the world in Moto as they collected in the already mythical documentary “Long Way Round” (which followed other spectacular adventures) but to a commission that, a priori, may seem easier and that consists of arriving from the house of one, in Scotland, until that of the other in England.
A trip that had to unite Ewan’s house with Boorman’s and that, however separately they are both at one tip of the island, could be done by road in just over 1,200 kilometers. And of course, for someone who has traveled the world, that is a short walk.
So both Ewan and Charley lined the blanket at the head and started, although this time with classic motorcycles: a Guzzi motorcycle and a BMW with about half a century in slope to travel 17 countries.

Yes, being able to do little more than the route of a weekend, they embarked on an adventure with their restored machines that led them to cross the North Sea, reach Scandinavia, climb to the Arctic Circle, go down through the Baltic countries, start the return through continental Europe and, then cross the La Mancha channel to return to Great Britain … two months after having left.
The tour, which has been documented and will be broadcast from May 9 through Apple TV, not only collects the trip, but also immerses Ewan and Charley in local activities with the locals, entering the culture of each country.
