This man has gone crazy and completely closed his scooter. But the best thing is that the idea works

Well yes, as you read. If you have an old scooter KYMCO Agility in your garage and it bothers you, open your eyes wide. You can follow in the footsteps of our friend and transform it into something completely different, with a roof and a seat with a backrest. Mind you, this is not the first crazy thing with a roof that we have seen this summer. Remember the poor Yamaha YZF-R1.

Our protagonist’s idea came to him after getting soaked on a cold winter morning. With a lot of imagination, he decided to take a bold step and set out to completely transform his old scooter.

This is the transformation process of this KYMCO scooter

As you can imagine, the video starts by removing covers and more covers, until the Taiwanese scooter is bare. Then it was the poor frame’s turn. With a radial arm and saw in hand, he begins to show how crazy his idea is. Of course, the chassis retains very little geometry compared to the standard one, as it is now quite a bit longer. After presenting the car seat on the frame of the small scooter, the fun begins.

With a welder in hand, the motorcycle chassis begins to transform into a kind of body similar to that of a car, thanks to the steel bars, perfectly tuned by our protagonist. Next are the windows that will close the passenger compartment.

More and more TIG welding, then it is the direction’s turn. KYMCO. Once again, and with the radial arm in hand, the steering column and front fork arrive at their new and curious housing. Of course, they also go through a perfect transformation process.

Roof, modified handlebars with completely vertical grips, shortened brake levers, modified bobblehead, fully functional hand-made doors, a curious electric invention with balance wheels so that the bike doesn’t fall over, sheet metal interiors and the exterior completely made of aluminum.

Then comes the electrical part, the assembly of the engine and the finishing process with the corresponding finishes. By the way, it does not lack the seat belt or the car rearview mirrors.

After painting it and making the final adjustments, our protagonist takes it out on the street to ride. And, boy, does it run! At first glance, everything seems to be working perfectly. We only have one question. How long did it take? We assume it was a long time. But the result is well worth it.
