The 2025 X-Trial was held again after six years of absence and did so in Nice, France. The last time it was played was in 2019 and Spain was the winner of this world championship for nations.
In this way, the Spanish team formed by Jaime Busto and Toni Bou, the same one that in 2019 won the title-last edition held-managed to maintain the unbeatability of our country in the X-Trial of the Nations, and that, since it was held for the first time in 2002, no country has managed to get off the highest drawer of the podium. Bou achieves his ninth title of the Indoor and Bust nations the fourth.

The Palais Nikaïa has been the stage chosen to host the event, which began at 20:00 local time. Our pilot duo gave their best version again and achieved a new title, the thirteenth of Spain in the X-Trial of the Nations. Bou and Busto were superior from the start of the championship, led the first two rounds, which assured them the pass to a final against France, with the couples formed by Benoit Bincaz and Hugo Dufrese, and in front of the Italians Matteo Gratarola and Francesco Tilti. Once in the final, they remained superior to their rivals and achieved a new victory.
This is the ninth title of the X-Trial Nations for Toni Bou in its sports career, to which we must add the 19 achieved next to the national team in the outdoor mode. Toni Bou has commented: “I am very happy to win this title again, and more after so many years without celebrating this test.”
