Trial of Nations 2026: The teams that will compete in Arteixo this September are presented

The Royal Spanish Motorcycle Federation (RFME) has confirmed the teams that will represent Spain in the Trial of Nations 2026which will be disputed in Arteixo (A Coruña) on September 26 and 27. The Spanish delegation will compete in three categories:

  • Masculine
  • Feminine
  • Team Challenge

Spain seeks to revalidate the title in the 2026 Trial of Nations

Toni Bou, Jaime Busto and Gabriel Marcelli They repeat as a team after becoming champions of the 2025 Trial of Nations in Tolmezzo (Italy) with 30 points, ahead of Great Britain and Italy. The three arrive at Arteixo also occupying the complete podium of the 2026 TrialGP World Championship: Bou leads with full victories, Busto is second and Marcelli third.

Berta Abellán, Abril Montserrat and Daniela Hernando They form the women’s team. Abellán leads the TrialGP Women World Championship, while Montserrat and Hernando occupy second and third place in the TrialGP2 Women World Championship. The Spanish team has been on the podium of the Trial of Nations for several years and faces this edition with its sights set on 2025.

Then Spain crossed the finish line as champions in Tolmezzo, but the title was taken away from them after a claim from Italy. For the first time, our country will compete in the Team Challenge of the Trial of Nations. The modality will have Oriol García Campanothird in the Trial3 World Championship with 143 points, and Queralt Fontdevilasixth in the TrialGP2 Women World Championship with 68 points.

Jordi Pratnational Trial coach, has declared: “We arrive in Arteixo with a men’s team that is unbeatable this season, with a women’s team, led by the world champion, who has been proving for years that she is among the best, and eager to debut in the Team Challenge. We are going for everything.”
