Ducati Overlay Collection 2025 in detail
The new line consists of three layers: the outer jacket, available in three variants (YO, Y4T and YB), the soft softshell mid-layer (L01) and the P01 protective layer. Each piece can be combined or worn individually, offering a total of 15 different configurations to suit different tastes and needs, allowing everyone to express their unique style.
YO, Y4T and YB overlap: innovation and style
The Overlay jackets, available in YO, Y4T and YB models, express a synthesis of style and functionality, and represent the heart of this collection. Garments that go beyond pure technical clothing, establishing themselves in the world of streetwear. The common thread between YO, Y4T and YB is immediately evident: the large surfaces of transparent polyurethane, combined with the 3D mesh lining, create a fascinating play of shadows and transparencies that catches the eye with a surprising visual impact.
Overlay YO stands out for its relaxed look, inspired by skate jackets. With a casual line and an adjustable hood, this model stands out for its all-over print reminiscent of the legendary Ducati shield. The possibility of combining it with the Overlay P01 vest and the Overlay L01 sweatshirt makes it extremely versatile for different seasons and occasions.
The Overlay Y4T is a more basic alternative, dominated by the four front pockets and slightly oversized volumes, which create an urban style with clear streetwear influences, completed by the adjustable hood. The modularity is naturally the same as the Overlay YO, as it can be combined with one or both inner layers.
Overlay YB is the classic and timeless bomber jacket, revisited thanks to the use of the new and intriguing combination of transparent polyurethane and 3D mesh. The short cut gives the jacket dynamism, while the elastic knit cuffs and bottom edge retain heat inside. But for different seasons and uses, the modular Overlay system is also found here, which with a zip and buttons allows it to be joined to the P01 vest and the L01 sweatshirt.
L01 Overlay: For added warmth
The Overlay L01 stands out for its minimalist style, embellished with the Ducati shield on the chest. Made from softshell fabric, this sweatshirt offers thermal comfort and fit. Versatile and functional, it can be worn alone for a casual, clean look or combined with other layers to protect you on colder days.
Certified protections with the P01 vest
The foundation of the Overlay modular system is the P01 protective vest, the capsule collection’s certified motorcycle jacket. Worn on its own, it is an extremely ventilated motorcycle jacket thanks to a 70% mesh surface combined with 30% anti-abrasion fabric.
In addition to shoulder and elbow protectors, the jacket is designed to incorporate a back protector. The look is discreet yet distinctive, thanks to the Ducati branding on the chest and red sleeves. The front zip and buttons allow the P01 vest to be combined with any other garment from the Overlay capsule.
