Vmoto, a global company specialising in the production of electric two-wheeled vehicles, has revealed a prototype of a super-fast charging battery at the Misano World Circuit headquarters. This innovative battery is smaller and lighter, capable of recharging from 0 to 80% in just 30 minutes, significantly optimising charging times.
The new batteries will complement Vmoto’s offering for urban mobility, coexisting with the current speed batteries. Customers will be able to choose the battery that best suits their needs: the new fast-charging battery is ideal for B2B customers looking to minimise downtime in the delivery market, while the speed battery remains the preferred choice for everyday use.
The presentation was attended by five-time MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo and Vmoto brand ambassador Dario Marchetti. The final version of the battery, ready for series production, will be presented at EICMA 2024.
Following the conference, European journalists and dealers were able to participate in a comparative test between three Vmoto L3 vehicles and three gasoline motorcycles, focusing on maneuverability, acceleration and driving experience, demonstrating the competitiveness of electric vehicles compared to internal combustion vehicles in urban environments.

The TC MAX is a true electric “Café Racer”, perfect for everyday urban use. With a speed of 95 km/h and a combined braking system, it offers safety and control. Its LED headlights and LCD and analogue instrument panel combine retro style with modern technology. The 3,900 W Vmoto motor, with peaks of up to 5,100 W, provides a range of 92 km.
