The history of LS2 is recent (since 2007), but its origins date back to 1990, when in a small workshop by China Arthur Liao began to manufacture helmets for other manufacturers, under the MHR company. In 1999 his brother Paul joins the company and is in 2007 when they decide to manufacture under their same brand: LS2.

From the beginning they established their European base in Barcelona, where they have changed headquarters as the brand has been growing, until they reach the current facilities. They combine offices and warehouse, which give exit to 5,000 helmets daily to Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. In a single year, more than one million helmets pass through its facilities, a tidal figure.
The SITA factory in China, together with the Vietnam factory currently under development, allows a production of 4 million helmets per year, to which the production of the rest of the motorist equipment must be added.
LS2 is the only brand that is capable of equipping the motorist in its integrity: to the many helmets we must add jackets, pants, boots and gloves. This season 25/26 also debits a complete range of bags, backpacks and saddlebags to equip both motorcycle and motorcycle.

If at first the LS2 helmets were synonyms for a good quality/price ratio, now they also have a very complete range. In the 37 different helmets models of its vast catalog are basic models, which start from the € 79 of a Jet helmet, versions for children, Cross, convertibles and 9K carbon fiber helmets of € 800, identical to those who use MotoGP World Cup pilots. And without forgetting its range of intercom in collaboration with Midland.
LS2, from the World Cup tracks at the head of users
We were able to contrast opinions with several of the pilots who compete in the World Cup with an LS2 helmet, as is the case of David Muñoz, third currently in the Moto3 World Cup and that expressed their inability to carry out the design of their helmet, ““Mine is gas”He told us that each GP, the pilots have access to 5 helmets (and about 9 per season), but that they do not use more than three per race, between one dries by sweat or for having had a mishap, in which case it is discarded. In all cases and surely by superstition, the pilots do not usually want to change their helmet.
Although all LS2 pilots have a very complete assistance service in the races, they all resort to a head designer for decoration. If David Muñoz gives his free track (Kaos), others such as Manuel González (Manugassss) are more involved in design. This year he wanted the flag to be in his helmet. He highlights his magnificent viewing angle. Interestingly, so far this year, the leader of Moto2 (before the Asian tour) has not had to change their helmet, having not touched with it the asphalt in the 16 races we carry. Hopefully the thing will continue like this.
Fermín Aldeguer, MotoGP pilot and almost for discounted Rookie of the year 2025, is more than happy with his LS2 FF 805 Thunder GP, because it is the helmet he wanted to take when he arrived at the World Cup (not so much ago). Therefore, he says that in addition to fulfilling a dream, to sign with the LS2 family it has been a natural movement.
