Where to see Superbike Estoril 2025, schedules and more info

From the beginning of the season it was clear that the fight for the title would be a matter of two and precisely two are those who arrive at Estoril, the penultimate event of the year, with a chance of winning the title. They are none other than Toprak Razgatlioglu and Nicolo Bulega, the only two drivers to have won more than one race this year. In fact, with the exception of Assen where Toprak had problems with the tires and Bulega with the bike, leaving Andrea Locatelli with the victory, no one else has risen to the top.

This, added to the fact that both have been on the podium in 26 of the 30 races held in 2025, means that both arrive at Estoril tremendously distanced from the rest of the drivers and at the same time relatively close to each other. And based on victories, five at a time, Razgatlioglu was first reducing the difference with Bulega and after overcoming him, increasing it. Therefore, despite counting 19 to 10 wins, the distance is only 36 points.

Taking into account that 62 points are distributed every weekend, there is still a lot at stake. Logically, Razgatlioglu has an advantage to manage, while Bulega can only win everything and wait. That is precisely the problem that both have and that is that since it is a direct fight between them and they are so far ahead of the rest every weekend, both cutting points and increasing them is a much slower process.

Razgatlioglu and Bulega, then the rest

So we will have to wait to see what happens in Estoril and if on the Portuguese track Petrucci, Locatelli, Bautista or the Lowes brothers are able to add a little spice. In fact, although the fight for the title is concentrated between the Turk and the Italian, the battle for third place overall is between Petrucci, Locatelli and Bautista, who if it weren’t for the bad luck that has accompanied him this year, would have that third place practically guaranteed. In any case, the two Ducati riders and the Yamaha rider still have a lot to say both in Estoril and in the final round of Jerez next week.

Even so, regarding the title, if everything goes as it should and there are no negative surprises, it is expected that the title will come to be decided at the Cadiz track, since even with Toprak winning the 3 races it would depend on Bulega giving up another 36 points this weekend.

Details of the Estoril Circuit

No one can, nor should, deny that the Estoril Circuit saw better days. For some time now it has not been at the level of current standards in terms of facilities and as you approach there you quickly realize it, but the track is still a real delight.

The main straight and the finish are a key overtaking point and a place to make mistakes on singles, then we have turns three and four, where in addition to overtaking you can, especially, prepare everything to end with an overtake in turn six after passing through a turn five that is almost a straight line.

In the final part of the circuit we find two of its most emblematic points. The first is the 9-10 chicane, technical, slow and another great overtaking point, although it is difficult at times. To top it all off, the last corner, turn thirteen, allows you to overtake in itself during the course or to prepare for overtaking when the straight begins. The only “downside” of the Estoril Circuit is that the winds play an important role that must be taken into account.

As happened in Aragón and will happen in Jerez, the proximity means that some lucky people can watch the races on the circuit. But you can also enjoy everything from home, there are several ways not to miss anything, and the best thing is that some are completely free.

The most complete option is once again DAZN, where it is enough to have a registered account to access the full broadcast, without the need for a paid subscription. The platform will cover all sessions: free practice, qualifications and races.

It can also be seen free of charge on Teledeporte, both through the television channel and on RTVE Play, the online service of the public channel, ideal for following the races from any device.

Those who prefer payment alternatives can turn to Eurosport, which will broadcast the championship on Eurosport 1 and 2, in addition to offering it in the MAX application. And for those most loyal to the championship, there is always the official WSBK Videopass, the most complete option with access to all sessions and exclusive content.
