Rumors about the price of gasoline in MotoGP for 2027 tell us about obscene amounts of money per liter, although not as much as F1. We are talking about approaching the barrier of 90 euros for each liter of gasoline, and there is an important reason: starting next season they will have to be 100% of non-fossil origin.
While MotoGP has a complicated situation ahead of it due to the price of gasoline, and they are looking for a way to make it as least compromising as possible for private teams, in WSBK they are about to take the opposite path.
It is not that now all gasoline will be of 100% fossil origin, it will continue to be E40, that is, with 40% bio components, derived from organic or biological matter. For example, vegetable oils, agricultural waste, biomass or organic waste.

What is going to change for 2027 and what is going to make prices drop is that, starting next season, there will be a single fuel supplier in the championship, and it is known that the price will be between 5 and 7 euros per liter. If we compare it with gas station prices it is obviously more expensive, but the difference comes when compared to supplier prices in the WSBK.
Gasoline prices in the WSBK vary greatly depending on the supplier
Right now, although we must always take this type of information with caution because we do not have invoices in front of us to support it, we are talking about rumors that place the price that some teams pay at around 30 euros per liter. But those same sources cite that other suppliers are charging up to 50 euros per liter.
We are, therefore, talking about high figures at the moment, and they have little to do with the spirit of a competition that seeks to resemble street motorcycles. In fact, being more purists, the ideal would be to follow the same fuel regulations that are in force. Come on, the WSBK motorcycles used the same gasoline as what we can put in our motorcycles on the street.

What is certain is that this price drop should be a relief for those teams that, until now, had to pay for fuel and that, in turn, will be a problem for those who did not do so as they have oil companies as sponsors. As always, balance is tricky. On the other hand, it must be said that in SSP there is already this single supplier, which guarantees the same fuel performance.
