Will this be the new Bullet 650?

It has been just a couple of months since Royal Enfield requested the registration of the commercial name “Bullet 650 Twin” in the US, although he had previously done the same in the Indian patent office.

Now everything indicates that the new model could already be in the oven, even more so when on several occasions we were certain that the brand was testing test mules of it, although in the end they did not end up becoming a street version.

Royal Enfield could launch its new Bullet 650 in 2026

Based on the latest information related to the launch of the long-awaited Bullet 650, it is clear that the brand will use the same platform already seen in the current models that make up the range of motorcycles equipped with its well-known twin-cylinder engine.

On several occasions we have shown you what looks like a test mule of the model and in those images we have confirmed its remarkable resemblance to the 350 cc version and, like this one, the general simplicity of the assembly.

It is more than likely that the future Bullet 650 will become the model that provides access to the range of models equipped with the same mechanics. Classic 650, Super Meteor 650, Bear 650 and Shotgun 650 are some of them, in addition to the already known Continental GT650 and Interceptor 650.

They all share the aforementioned engine-chassis structure, although each of them has its own imprint. As significant identity features, the Bullet 650 will equip a one-piece seat and will feature the fender design with a marked retro feel.

Royal Enfield will have a Bullet 650 among its ranks by next year 2026

Unlike the latter, it will not have the level of finishes with a chrome finish either, in order to offer a more reasonable price. The rest of the components will be similar, including conventional front fork or a brake disc per axle. Both the headlight, fuel tank, chassis, side exhaust system and body panels would be shared between both and, in turn, with the current Super Meteor 650. Also the type of radial tire or the suspension system.

In any case, according to the estimates of Cycle World colleagues, it will not be until at least the year 2026 when Royal Enfield launches the new Bullet 650 on the market. It is likely that they will officially present it a few months before, waiting for the arrival of the next season to begin distributing it in their official dealers.
