With a price starting from 185,000 rupees, about 2,065 euros at the exchange ratethe Pulsar NS400Z arrives to compete with rivals of the caliber of the Triumph Speed 400, TVS Apache RR310KTM 390 Duke, BMW G310R or Hero Mavrick 440, among others. For this, it has a tight initial rate, but without giving up a good level of equipment and finishes.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z: Balance sprinkled with a touch of sportiness
As we already told you in previous articles, the new Pulsar NS400Z comes equipped with the KTM-sourced single-cylinder engine and 373cc, associated with a six-speed gearbox. For the occasion the brand declares 40 HP of power and 35 Nm of torque, with a maximum speed of 154 km/h.
To manage these performance figures, it has 4 driving modes: Road, Sport, Rain and Offroad. In terms of technological systems, Bajaj's technical team has provided its new mount with dual-channel ABS and traction control.
The above is combined with a well-resolved cycle section where a suspension system consisting of an inverted front fork and a rear monoshock stands out.
Braking is carried out by a double disc, one on each axle, embedded in 17” wheels, the same ones used on the NS200, shod at the rear with a 140 mm section rear tire. Likewise, the Pulsar NS400Z It obtains equipment and finishes that stand out above other versions of the model.
With a similar appearance to other variants of the current Pulsar range, the new NS400Z stands out for incorporating Full-LED lighting, a two-level sports seat or aggressive lines in the area of the fuel tank and the back of the tail. The set of grab handles for the passenger are attached to the latter.
The full-color digital instrument cluster offers integrated Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation. Other details worth highlighting are the ability to choose between 4 different color schemes: metallic pearl white, glossy ebony black, pewter gray and cocktail wine red. In addition, it has adjustable handles in up to 5 positions, making it the first model of the brand to equip this option.
