With more than 15 years of experience in the scooter and motorcycle sector in Europe, Wottan Motor announces the expansion of its model range with the launch of the innovative GT2 grand tourer scooterpresented at the EICMA Show in Milan in 125 and 300 cc displacements.
In this way, the brand begins a new stage characterized by a generation of models that combines high technological content in both safety and practical equipment, together with highly efficient mechanics under the new Euro 5+ directive.
Wottan GT2 range in detail
The new GT2 from Wottan combines a striking Italian design with futuristic and, at the same time, ergonomic shapes and its advanced specifications make it an ideal option for those looking for comfort and good performance on every ride. To achieve this, it is powered by state-of-the-art single-cylinder engines under Euro 5+ approval, minimizing gas and acoustic emissions.
Both engines have Bosch electronic injection and a liquid cooling system, available in two versions:
- 300cc: It offers a maximum power of 26.5 HP at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 24.6 Nm at 6,250 rpm and is aimed at users with A2 and A driving licenses.
- 125cc: It provides a maximum power of 11.1 HP at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm, intended for users with an A1 permit from the age of 16 or with a B car license that has been in existence for three years.
The technology of the Wottan GT2 125 includes the “Start&Stop” idle stop system to cancel consumption at urban traffic light stops, as well as a dual-channel ABS anti-lock braking system and TCS traction control to reduce the risk of skidding on surfaces. slippery These last two systems are also present in the 300 cc version.
The technological innovation of the new Wottan GT2 is also present in the design of its multi-tubular steel frame, guaranteeing exceptional rigidity and stability, allowing an agile and safe driving experience, even on routes on tight curves and at high speeds.
The front axle has a front suspension by hydraulic telescopic fork with 37 mm section bars and 99 mm travel in the 300 cc model, and 33 mm bars with 96 mm travel in the 125 cc version.
In the rear axle, the suspension is entrusted to a double hydraulic shock absorber system with double spring settings that complements the set with a progressive action that provides high driving comfort, absorbing road surface irregularities and optimizing traction. The wheels, 15 inches at the front and 14 at the rear in the 300 cc version (and 14/13 in the 125 cc model), ensure the best compromise of stability and manageability for mixed city-road use.
For its part, the Wottan GT2 braking system uses a 260 mm disc at the front and 240 at the rear for the 300 cc model (240 and 220 mm in the 125 cc version), the system has ABS Double independent channel that guarantees powerful and safe braking in any situation.
For the design of the GT2, Wottan Motor once again relies on the creative genius of the renowned Italian designer Alessandro Tartarini. The two-level seat stands out, with a comfortable and well-integrated design, double texture, visible seams, ergonomic backrest for the pilot and two handles for the passenger.
Among its main equipment stands out a 7 inch TFT color screenwith 5 manually adjustable brightness levels. It includes complete information, with Bluetooth connectivity to manage multimedia functions (incoming calls and music player) as well as a GPS navigator with abbreviated directions “turn-by-turn”. Screen control is done from a button on the left switch group.
Equipped with LED headlights and taillight, the Wottan GT2 ensures optimal visibility with a light, modern and attractive signature by which it is immediately recognized. Like a good Gran Turismo scooter, this model is distinguished by its large cargo capacity, with two front glove boxes and a spacious compartment under the seat to store the helmet. In addition, it has a windshield adjustable in two heights to adapt to the different uses that it will be given.
In its 300 cc version, the GT2 incorporates backlit light switches, providing better visibility and control in low lighting conditions. Its Keyless ignition system, present in both displacements, adds an extra level of comfort and safety, with a USB port that allows you to charge devices on the move.
Its launch is scheduled for second half of Novemberwith an initial price of 4,090 euros for the 300 cc version and 2,990 euros for the 125 cc version. In addition, we will have two color options, Dark Gray and Snow White.
