Yamaha’s entry-level Sport Scooter models become part of the MAX family, with two new and dynamic models: the NMAX 125 and NMAX 125 Tech MAX. These two new lightweight models are synonymous with a strong sporty focus and first-class quality. They also have an economical EURO5+ engine and an affordable price, becoming the perfect ally when it comes to driving around the city.

The NMAX 125 stands out mainly for its simple design and the sporty style of the MAX family, together with solid features and excellent value for money. Likewise, a marriage of perfection, style, practicality and economy. The new dual-optic projector beam headlights with integrated LED turn signals, as well as an elegant LED taillight, give the NMAX 125 a solid and dynamic appearance.
Its new bodywork gives it a more stylish, compact and sporty appearance. The redesigned front fairing and sports screen protect you from the wind to make you ride as comfortable as possible, while its generous legroom and adaptable riding position are supported by relaxed ergonomics and comfortable suspension. The compartment under the seat can store a helmet (depending on its shape and size), and also has an open left front glove box and a right front glove box with a weather-resistant lid.
In its cycle part, it has front and rear disc brakes with a diameter of 230 mm – both with ABS – that provide smooth and comfortable braking on different types of surfaces. For confident driving on low-grip surfaces, the Traction Control System (TCS) automatically adjusts power delivery to the rear wheel to prevent slipping, and the 13-inch light alloy wheels are fitted with a 130/70-13 rear and a 110/70-13 front tire.
On a mechanical level, Yamaha’s Blue Core technology employs the 125cc EURO5+ engine equipped with Start & Stop technology that further minimizes fuel consumption to reduce emissions and running costs. This propellant offers us a maximum power of 12.2 HP at 8,000 rpm, with a final torque of 11.2 Nm at 6,000 revolutions. The fuel consumption efficiency of the NMAX 125 allows you to travel a few kilometers with its 7.1 liter fuel tank. Approximately 300 km between refuelings.
Among its most notable equipment we have a 4.2-inch LCD instrumentation with a Bluetooth connection from which the user can see notifications of incoming calls, emails and SMS messages. Keyless ignition using Smart Key makes life easier, since it is not necessary to insert a conventional key into the ignition, and it also has a USB-C socket in the front left glove box to charge any device.

Yamaha NMAX 125 Tech MAX 2025
Yamaha’s new NMAX 125 Tech MAX is equipped with all the latest features of the NMAX 125, as well as including an additional range of exclusive technology and features. The NMAX 125 Tech MAX has a 4.2″ connected TFT instrumentation in full color and with different background themes, which offers a high level of functionality, including Garmin navigation.
The instrumentation is equipped with a link card module that allows riders to listen to music, answer calls, view email and SMS notifications and much more after downloading the Yamaha MyRide App on a smartphone. On the other hand, the two-seater bucket seat has special upholstery in black imitation leather, with gold stitching and imitation suede details.
