Austrian giant Pierer Mobility Group continues to expand its presence in the European market with its latest move: a deal to supply parts and distribution for electric mobility brand Zeeho, across Europe from 2024.
The incorporation of Zeeho as the electrified part of CFMoto will make the group able to strengthen its position in the electric mobility market. Although it is a newcomer here in Europe, in China since its launch in 2020 they have sold 10,000 units.
With this new movement, Pierer Mobility Group continues to gain weight in the sector, since currently, in addition to the aforementioned CFMoto, they have (logically) KTM, Husqvarna, GASGAS, MV Agusta and WP, the suspension manufacturer that is also linked to the firm's brands on a regular basis.
Zeeho's expansion will start in some of the most powerful markets in Europe
Returning to Zeeho's expansion, the plan is for its models to be available in several European countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Spain. They will arrive with three different models, all of them urban and with prices that could allow them to fully enter the fight for a segment that in recent months has not achieved the growth figures that it had been experiencing in recent years.
Pierer Mobility Group's success in distributing brands such as CFMoto and KTM in China demonstrates its ability to expand into new markets and establish strong relationships with strategic partners.
However, entering a highly saturated European market presents challenges, especially at a time when, as we said before, sales of electric motorcycles in certain categories have seen a decline.
Despite these challenges and as those from CFMoto in Europe have stated to colleagues at MCN, Pierer Mobility Group is determined to establish a strong presence in the electric mobility market and anticipates a promising future in collaboration with Zeeho.
