A few months ago we know that Buell Super Cruiser is the next Buell project. A machine that collects the essence of the brand and that can be seen, in the Daytona Bike Week in its production version, along with other brand models, such as Hammerhead and 1190 SX, in addition to some customized models and even some prototypes.
But focusing on the Buell Super Cruiser, we must remember that it has been created in collaboration with Roland Sands, and that it has been seen in preliminary phases both staticly and in some exhibition.
What differentiates this appearance of the Buell Super Cruiser compared to the previous ones is that now Buell, ensures that the model is practically ready for its launch, and that only small adjustments of production and benefits are missing, before its official presentation at the end of the year. Therefore, the machines exhibited in Daytona are almost identical to the models that will end up arriving to the street.
Buell Super Cruiser has a marked sports character
Remember that Buell’s bet with the new Super Cruiser is to get a light and powerful motorcycle, something that by the figures presented seems that they have achieved. And it is that the Bicilindrical engine of V of 1,190 cc of liquid cooling, is capable of generating 175 hp for a total weight of 204 kg and a 136 nm motor torque.
In the cycle part, Buell has opted for a multitubular steel chassis minimalist, also 17 -inch tires (inheritance of the Superbike Hammerhead), which reinforces its sporting character. It has Fox suspensions in front and behind and the brakes are borne by Brembo.

As for the price that the model will have, it is known that it has been set for the US market at $ 25,900, at the current exchange rate just under $ 24,900. In any case, we will have to wait for its official presentation to learn more about details, both of the motorcycle and the deadlines and marketing plans in our continent.
