However, this Italian businessman born in Pontremoli in 1946, has been a reference within the Italian business sector thanks to his “Free spirit, a tireless genius who never feared to think – and above all, act – anticipating his time,” As defined from Askoll Eva, the company that would found it in 2014.
Elio Marioni: A true visionary, not just word
After working for several years in Zoppas, an Italian company with more than half a century of experience in the design and production of heating elements and systems, Fundar Askoll Group decided to found under the revolutionary and visionary idea of applying synchronous technology to electric motors. Subsequently, in 2014, Elio Marioni would create the Askoll Eva division, specialized in the manufacture of electrical scooters and bicycles.

Two unwavering pillars defined his life: Askoll, his creation, and his family. His wife Elena, his daughters Monica and Alessia, and his beloved grandchildren, who spoke with the greatest pride.
They conclude: “The whole company, on behalf of each person who is part, embraces their family and all who loved him with love. We will continue with pride and determination what bequeathed us, safeguarding their values as a lighthouse for our future.”
