Qjmotor seeks to expand borders in the Adventure segment of half -displacement with its imminent ADV600a model that the Chinese brand has just registered with the units of its native country and that reminds us of the two Xplora models that Rieju recently released. Something casual, since all of them share a common design base.
QJMOTOR ADV600: More wood to the ADV category for A2
Looking back and to be able to put this QjMotor Adv600 in context, we must go until 2021, when MV Agusta presented its Lucky Explorer Project brand, with two new motorcycles inspired by the Cagiva Elefant: Lucky Explorer 9.5 and 5.5. Already then we told you the agreement between the Italian firm and the Chinese business group to conceive the access model to this range.
After passing through the 2022 eicma edition, where the prototypes of both motorcycles were presented, everything seemed almost ready for MV Agusta to begin the commercialization of the two models in the following season. However, after the arrival of KTM to the Steering Committee of the Italian firm, the project of collaboration with Qjmotor was suspended until new order, finally the small variant of the Lucky Explorer saga as it seemed to happen at first.
Subsequently, it was Rieju who resumed the idea of a half -displacement ADV model using the striking design that was intended to dress the Lucky Explorer 5.5 project of MV. EICMA 2024 was the place chosen by the Spanish brand to present its new Xplara range in society, in versions 557 and 707. Two motorcycles that have finally become a reality this year.
Now qjmotor moves token using that same common platform with its new ADV600, of which we have already known some of the main technical data that it will have, including the well -known bicylindrical engine in parallel of 554 cc that is also mounted in the SRK550. However, in Chinese homologation documents a power of 45 kW is declared, which is equivalent to some Approximately 60 hp.
It is expected that, if getting to the current range of the brand in Europe, the ADV600 offers a 47 hp version for the A2. In any case, Qjmotor declares a maximum speed of 172 km/hnext to a final weight in the order of progress of 246 kilograms. Use other 17 ”alloy wheels, shoes with 120/70 and 160/60 tires, in front and behind respectively.
On the other hand, the wheelbase reaches 1,505 mm, with a few final levels of 2,345 mm x 960 mm x 1,395 mm (long, wide and high), although these may vary depending on the equipment that mount. Regarding its commercialization, there is still no official release date, nor do we know if it will finally be marketed in Europe, aspects that we assume will reveal the brand very soon.
