The name Diavel has always been synonymous with brilliant acceleration. With the NEW V4 RS 2026thanks to the Demosedici Stradale engine derived from MotoGP with its counter -priest crankshaft, Ducati takes the limit even further. The Diavel V4 RS, long and low thanks to technical solutions that bring it closer to dragsters, is in fact the Ducati with better acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h.
Thanks to this, and the 182 hp of its Desmo V4 engine and a sophisticated and effective electronic package that allows its pilot to maximize the benefits, the V4 RS achieves accelerations so far unthinkable for a street motorcycle of the street. In the hands of Marc Márquez, Diavel V4 RS has proven to be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.52 seconds.
The driving experience of the Diavel V4 RS is unique, thanks to its delivery of energetic and exciting power and the unmistakable sound of the demosedici Stradale engine with dry clutch. The Diavel V4 RS attracts attention at low speeds, but also excites in sports driving, thanks to its Öhlins suspension, its tilted aluminum monobrazo, its brake system derived from the Panigale V4 and its forged tires designed specifically for this model.
Ducati Diavel V4 RS 2026 rivals
Few are the bikes within the sector that can rival this Diavel V4 RS 2026. In any case, close to its philosophy, we can highlight the following:
Ducati Diavel V4 RS 2026 engine
The V4 RS Diavel is equipped with the Desmmosedici Stradale engine of 1,103 CC in accordance with the Euro 5+ standard and equipped with a high -permeability sprintfilter P08 air filter. This mechanic develops a maximum power of 182 hp at 11,750 rpm (14 hp more than the V4 Diavel Granturismo V4), with a maximum regime of 13,500 rpm in all marches except in the first, in which it reaches 14,000 rpm. The maximum torque declared is encrypted in the 120 Nm at 9,500 turns.
To make the most of the acceleration in short marches and thus improve the benefits of the demosedici Stradale in the V4 RS Diavel, the final exchange relations have been specifically defined, keeping the relations of the gearbox unaltered, assisted by the new DQS 2.0. Like the most prestigious Ducati models, Diavel V4 RS incorporates the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch with a specific spring and slider settings.
To improve the thermal motor comfort, the desmmosedici Stradale has been designed to deactivate the rear cylinder bench when the motorcycle is stopped, in the dead point and with a motor temperature greater than 70 ° C. The valve game review interval in the V4 RS diavel is every 30,000 km.
Cycle of the Ducati Diavel V4 RS 2026
The Desmmosedici Stradale engine is also an integral part of the Diavel V4 RS chassis, since it is used as an element to give the necessary stiffness. The design is based on a slight monocoque frame set to the butt, a tilted monobrazo of the same material and a rear subchassis of Trelllis steel.
Diablo Rosso IV tires, first available to a rear measure of 240/45, offer an excellent grip during acceleration and a great sense of contact with the ground in the middle of the curve. Together with the forged aluminum tires, they contribute to a more effective dynamic behavior. The choice of the Öhlins suspension guarantees the best performance, with a Nix30 front inverted fork with 48 mm bars, while the shock absorber is a STX46.
The brake system derives directly from that of the Panigale V4, and guarantees record benefits with maximum deceleration values of 11.5 m/s2. In the front, the system includes 330 mm diameter discs and Brembo Stylema monobloque tweezers. In the rear, the system has a single 265 mm disk held by a Brembo floating clamp. In addition to carbon and titanium fiber components, a small lithium -ion battery has been adopted to further reduce weight (220 kg dry). This is a saving of 3 kg compared to Diavel V4.
Equipment and finishes of the Ducati Diavel V4 RS 2026
The V4 RS Diavel combines the characteristic DNA of the Ducati Muscle Roadster with stylistic and technical solutions that make it even more daring. The carbon fiber components, such as front and rear fenders, the front fairing, tapas of the tank, the careno car caleplaza and the air entrance ducts, create a set of contrasts with the sports and dynamic free RS.
The lateral view is more sporty and aggressive. The composite air intakes in the fuel tank support alternate the carbon fiber seen in the lower section with the superior, painted red. The side panels, which echo the design, accentuate the visual power of the masses transferred to the front.
The pilot seat is specifically designed for the V4 RS diavel and is enhanced with red seams on the sides that accentuate its sporting character. The carnado car car, also in carbon fiber and with the “RS” logo on both sides, replaces the diavel passenger seat, contributing to the visual lightness of the rear. Those who wish to share the emotions of the V4 RS diavel with a passenger can replace it with the serial seat and remove the stirrups and retractable handles, very refined solutions born with the first diavel 1200 and that, naturally, remain in this model.
The unmistakable style of the V4 RS diavel is further enhanced with the tapas of the ends of the titanium silencer and the aluminum covers that further highlight the iconic quadruple exhaust. Brembo Stylema front brake tweezers painted in red complete the look. The V4 RS diavel is manufactured in a limited edition. The number appears on an aluminum plate, adorned with the RS logo, applied to the butt of the rear bench of the Demmosedici Stradale engine.
Technology and electronics of the Ducati Diavel V4 RS 2026
The Electronic Diavel V4 RS package, thanks to the information received from the Bosch inertial platform, includes three Power Modes (High, Medium, Low), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0. All these systems have been calibrated according to the characteristics of the model and the planned use and have been integrated into four riding Modes: Race (which appears for the first time in the Diavel family, highlighting the characteristics of the RS model), Sport, Touring and Wet.
The three Power Modes have been calibrated for the specific use of the V4 RS diavel. Specifically:
- High (associate by default to the driving modes Sport and Race, the latter dedicated to circuit use) offers maximum power, with a rapid accelerator response.
- Medium (associate by default to the Touring driving mode) also offers maximum power, but with a softer accelerator response.
- Low (default in the wet driving mode) with a reduced power to 84 kW (114 hp) and a soft accelerator response.
The most sporty sensation of the electronic package of the V4 RS diavel is underlined by the new graphics of the instrumentation, which have a special home screen dedicated to the model. On the main screen, using the Race Riding Mode, a control panel appears with a functionality similar to the Panigale V4 infomode and the streetfighter V4. This panel shows the DTC, ABS and DWC settings for selected driving mode.
In addition, the intervention of the Ducati Tracion Control and the Ducati Wheelie Control stands out through the flickering of the corresponding panel element and the lighting of the upper right corner of the instrumentation. The V4 RS Diavel also incorporates a new Ducati Power Launch strategy, which allows pilots to take full advantage of their output performance.
The system offers three levels, selectable depending on the pilot’s ability. Once configured, the first march is enough and open the accelerator: during the initial start, while the pilot modulates the release of the clutch, the system will maintain the designici RS stable to an optimal regime based on the selected level level. In the second phase, when the clutch is completely released, the DPL will control torque delivery to guarantee the maximum possible acceleration depending on the predefined level.
The DPL uses the dwc functions and keeps DTC active at all times to guarantee maximum security in any situation. The system is automatically disconnected above the maneuvering speed or once the third march has been engaged. To preserve the clutch, the system uses an algorithm that only allows a limited number of consecutive starts.
The number of starts available is restored when the pilot uses the motorcycle normally. In the V4 RS Diavel, the system also shows the benefits achieved in the distances of 0-100 and 0-200 km/h, registering them in memory and keeping a history of the best results achieved.
