The new Aprilia MotoGP has already taken to the track, and there is a detail that does not go unnoticed

The brands are thoroughly preparing the change in regulations in MotoGP and, as it could not be otherwise, so is Aprilia. The Noale brand, now a benchmark in the category, has shown a first version of its prototype for next season in tests in Jerez.

After the Spanish GP and also after the official tests, Aprilia stayed riding on the Andalusian track with Lorenzo Savadori as test rider. Although it is almost certainly not the first time that the 2027 RS-GP takes to the track, it is the first time that we have images of it and more official ones.

Aprilia continues to make the most of aerodynamics

You can see with the naked eye some differences in the narrower fairing, although it is striking that actually at an aerodynamic level this is one of the biggest differences we found. And although the regulations seek to limit this area, it seems that Aprilia has had to find a way to make the most of legality.

And they do it with front wings that are not joined to the rest of the fairing other than the front, sides with more aerodynamic appendages and a front fender that is a work of art in itself. At the rear, the aerodynamic solutions are simpler, the winglets disappear under the seat and the tail system is simplified.

At least that is what can be seen from the images that Aprilia has shared. They have also shared a ride along a straight line in which, without references, it is not possible to distinguish differences beyond the fact that the bike does not get off the rear axle as MotoGP do now.

As for the tests themselves, it will be difficult to reveal any more information but it is known that they will be a total of two days, April 29 and 30, and that, at least for part of the day on Wednesday, the asphalt was wet. In any case, what is certain is that after seeing the Aprilia in Jerez we only have to discover the 2027 Yamaha prototype, because before we saw Honda, KTM, Ducati.
