Indian Motorcycle has decided to take its big bagger and touring bikes to a new level of sophistication. The historic American firm presents the Signature Series 2026a collection made up of four limited production models that combine a specially elaborate decoration, practically all the equipment available in the catalog and prices that, in the United States, start above $40,000.
Those chosen to inaugurate this family are the Indian Challenger Signature Series, Chieftain Signature Series, Pursuit Signature Series and Roadmaster Signature Series. The first two respond to the bagger concept, with side cases and a lower, more stylized silhouette, while the Pursuit and Roadmaster are clearly oriented towards grand tourism thanks to the incorporation of a rear trunk, greater cargo capacity and additional equipment for the passenger.

All of them share the same mechanical base. The protagonist is the well-known PowerPlus 112 engine, a liquid-cooled V-twin, with eight valves and 1,834 cc displacement. Indian claims a power of 126 hp and a maximum torque of 180 Nm – 133 lb-ft –, transmitted to the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox and a toothed belt.
We are not, therefore, looking at simple decorative versions. Although the paint is one of its main arguments, Indian has also included especially extensive electronic and comfort equipment.
Equipment worthy of the highest range
All four models incorporate three driving modes – Rain, Standard and Sport –, cruise control and an anti-lock braking system sensitive to lean angle. Front braking is entrusted to two four-piston Brembo calipers, associated with 320 mm discs, while the suspension uses a 43 mm inverted fork and a rear shock absorber with electronic preload regulation.
The technological section revolves around a seven-inch TFT screen with navigation and compatibility with Apple CarPlay. Added to this are keyless start, LED lighting, tire pressure monitoring, electrically adjustable windshield and remote closing of the suitcases.
Indian has also integrated assistance systems that are unusual even within the large touring segment, such as blind spot vehicle warning and rear collision warning. They are solutions designed to provide an additional layer of security during long trips on the highway, precisely the natural setting for these enormous American twin cylinders.
The differences between the four models are mainly found in the type of fairing, loading capacity, sound equipment and decoration.
Challenger and Chieftain: two ways to understand a bagger
The Indian Challenger Signature Series uses a fairing anchored directly to the chassis. This solution allows the weight of the front assembly to be separated from the steering and is also one of the features that have made the Challenger the basis of the motorcycles used by Indian in American bagger competitions.
Its decoration combines a black Abyss Metallic base with Red Alert and Machined Silver details. The set opts for a dark and aggressive image, finished off by a 400-watt PowerBand sound system.

The Indian Chieftain Signature Series maintains a similar philosophy, although it uses the classic fairing attached to the fork, which rotates jointly with the handlebars. In its case, the Abyss Metallic paint is accompanied by Venom Green and Cypher Green details, creating a more striking and contemporary combination.
Both offer more than 18 US gallons of storage capacity, equivalent to about 68 liters, and have an advertised price of $40,999 in the United States.
Pursuit and Roadmaster: luxury for traveling with someone
The Pursuit and Roadmaster Signature Series are designed for those looking to travel long distances with the maximum possible comfort. In addition to the side cases, they incorporate a large rear trunk that raises the total storage volume to 36.2 US gallons, approximately 137 liters.
They also add heated seats for driver and passenger, with independent adjustment, heated grips and adjustable passenger platforms. The sound system increases its power to 600 watts, a figure that makes clear the claims of these two authentic ocean liners on wheels.
The Pursuit uses a fairing fixed to the frame, while the Roadmaster retains the traditional fairing mounted on the fork. This difference allows you to choose between a steering response that is less conditioned by front weight or the feel and classic aesthetics that have historically defined the great North American touring cars.
Both share a white Frontier Pearl paint with Revere Red and Vigilant Blue accents. According to Indian, this combination commemorates both the 125th anniversary of the brand and the 250th anniversary of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence.
US pricing for the Pursuit and Roadmaster Signature Series has been set at $46,749. The information published places the arrival of the four models at North American dealers during August 2026. At the moment, no prices, assigned units or official availability for Spain have been reported.
