Honda is preparing a new ADV model, and we already know things…

Just a few days before a new edition of the Milan Motorcycle Show begins, Sling begins to open its mouth on its social networks with the launch of two teaser videos in which it basically lets us know its intention to update its range of ADV models. The question that arises, after viewing them, is whether it will be the Africa Twin the chosen one or, on the contrary, the everlasting Transalp…There is also the possibility of 2027 versions of both models.

New ADV Honda model: what we know

As tenth, there are two teaser videos released by the Japanese brand on its different virtual platforms. Both are headed by the same message: “A new adventure is coming. Made for you. True Adventure for all. 11/02/2026”. In the last of these graphic documents, right at the beginning of it, we can see how up to three motorcycle fronts are illuminated, the one in the center being clearly different from the one on the sides.

Not even the shape of the headlights, as well as the position of the turn signals and even the contour of the front dome are different. This makes us think about the possibility of two new models and within one of them a specific version of equipment. Some are even betting on the launch of a renewed CRF Rally, thus joining the possible Africa Twin and Transalp 2027, so we would be facing a triple launch.

On 11/02/2026 we will clear up doubts

The brand has decided to make this launch official on November 2, just one day before the official kickoff of EICMA 2026. Therefore, the Milan exhibition will be the place chosen by Honda to present this novelty in society. In any case, last August we already told you about the possibility of the legendary Africa Twin abandoning its current mechanical configuration in favor of the one offered by the technological Honda V3R engine with an electric compressor.

The main reason for this decision would be the ability to offer the same performance as a 1,200 cc engine, while also maintaining good environmental efficiency. If the Transalp is chosen for this complete renovation, it is almost certain that any update would have to adapt to the current technical architecture where the Honda E-Clutch has become an indivisible part of the whole.

For now, we just have to wait for Honda to finally reveal the new component of its 2027 range. In the meantime, we can continue to speculate on what could be coming, whether in the form of a new model or several. Each one chooses to taste.
