In recent times, BMW Motorrad has made use of its legendary ADV model for the recreation of several special series in different parts of the planet. One of its latest initiatives on its well-known platform is this BMW R 1300 GS Adventure x Oktoberfest Munich 2026. However, unlike those described above, we are not facing a commercial initiative in the form of a limited edition.
The idea here has been to create a unique decoration for the occasion: “For the Munich Oktoberfest 2026, we gave the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure a very special makeover. Together with ARider, we created a unique motorcycle with an exclusive design for the Oktoberfest. A motorcycle that embodies the spirit of Munich”they explain from the brand.
An Oktoberfest in style
In parallel to the recreation of this R 1300 GS Adventure x Oktoberfest Munich 2026, the German subsidiary of BMW Motorrad has created an interesting initiative with which to enjoy the massive beer event at the controls of one of the brand’s mounts. On their official Instagram page they have made a publication explaining the bases of the contest:

BMW R 1300 GS Adventure x Oktoberfest Munich 2026 in detail
Regarding the unit chosen for this project, as explained by the brand itself, we are talking about a BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Triple Black: “The vinyl transfers the colors, shapes and dynamics of the Oktoberfest motif to the motorcycle, bringing a piece of Munich tradition to the road.” There are no changes beyond the purely aesthetic level, where color floods every corner of its muscular body.
Let us remember that the technical basis of the model is dominated by a main frame made of sheet steel within which the well-known 1,300 c twin-cylinder boxer engine is housed. This develops a final power of 107 kW (145 hp) at 7,750 rpmwith a maximum approved torque of 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The block is associated with a 6-speed gearbox and can optionally integrate the Automatic Shift Assistant that the brand currently sells within its range of options.
