The latter, at present, continue to use the predecessor to the new German model, R 1250rt.
However, everything suggests that, over the next few months, the first RT-P RT-P units begin to be delivered, replacing the motorcycles that until now motorize our agents. A model, on the other hand, that combines the latest technology in the sector with a high level of comfort and a specific equipment porpholio for this variant in question, as detailed from the official website of the German firm.
BMW R 1300 RT-P: Prepared to “chase the bad guys”
The new BMW R 1300 RT-P, in the words of the Bavarian company itself is “The perfect companion for any situation: it is powerful, reliable and agile … with this machine it will be prepared for any setback. For the BMW R 1300 RT-P there is the perfect fan of equipment elements that have been designed to guarantee the comfort, functionality and security of the driver.”
Recall that the newly released Touring model of the Muniquesa house equips the new 1,300 cc boxer, the most powerful in BMW’s story. Yields 145 hp at 7,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm. In addition, it has a technological package that places it as the reference model within the category. Among the most outstanding elements it has three series driving modes (Rain, Road and Eco) and two additional optional ones (Dynamic and Dynamic Pro).
It also has the new Vario electric bags, the DCA electronic suspension of double geometry, the automatic change assistant (ASA) and the incorporation of adaptive headlights, together with driving aids such as adaptive cruise control or the serial comprehensive ABS.
In addition, in the case of this police version R 1300 RT-P, the brand makes available to the competent administration a series of specific elements with which to efficiently fulfill the work entrusted. Among the main accessories offered, as part of this endowment, we can quote:

It is not clear even when the first BMW R 1300 RT-P units will arrive at Spanish roads, and therefore to the Civil Guard of Traffic. In any case, if we stick to the relationship of the Spanish police and the German brand, it is almost certain that the agents in charge of this task will soon be at the controls of the new Bavarian mount.
