Bimota’s ADV model, the well-known Tera with a Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX engine, arrives for 2025 with renewed air in terms of equipment and style. These essentially affect its running gear and the section dedicated to aerodynamics. To achieve this, the transalpine firm includes this season a set of mixed tires signed by Anlas, and a pair of aerodynamic spoilers integrated into the front of the model.
Bimota Tera 2025 in detail
Thanks to our colleagues at MCN we have seen first-hand the essential changes that the Bimota Tera has in this newly released 2025. In addition, they have had the opportunity to talk with Pierluigi Marconi, director of operations of the transalpine firm. This, referring to the new mixed tires that the Tera has, said: “We have 17-inch tires manufactured especially for us by Anlas and approved for 270 km/h.”
Let us remember that the Bimota Tera has the 998 cc supercharged 4-cylinder Kawasaki H2 engine and 200 HP of power. This is capable of offering us up to 137 Nm of maximum torque at 8,500 rpm, and is assisted by a first-class electronic compendium with which to make the most of its qualities.
Marconi comments that: “For us, it’s a crossover bike, not an adventure bike. That’s why we chose 17-inch wheels. In our minds, it’s for mostly on-road riding and sometimes a bit of soft off-road terrain; That’s why we like to have a good tire for both things. That’s why we commissioned Anlas to manufacture them for us.”
And he concludes by saying: “You can go to work, you can enjoy it with your wife, you can take a long trip, drive it around the city, it has luggage, it is an easy motorcycle, of course it is a little expensive, but it is a motorcycle to enjoy anywhere.”
Likewise, the Bimota Tera 2025 integrates two aerodynamic spoilers on its front which, unlike the new KB998 Rimini, are not adjustable, but fixed. In the sports version these appendages have electronic adjustment. All this combined with the latest technologies in the sector and countless elements made of CNC and carbon fiber.
On the other hand, its chassis uses a completely new chassis within the brand, supported by an elaborate suspension system with an Öhlins TTX 36 shock absorber at the front and another with similar characteristics at the rear. Optionally, the brand offers us a Marzocchi semi-active suspension system.
At the electronic level it has Kawasaki curve management function (KCMF), Kawasaki KTRC traction control (3 MODES) or Kawasaki launch control mode (KLCM). Also Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-lock Braking System (KIBS), Kawasaki Quick Shift (KQS) (upshift and downshift), electronic cruise control, all-LED lighting, full color TFT LCD display, assist and slipper clutch.
