Royal Alloy JPS 350: A very special “John Player Special Edition”
You don’t have to be very knowledgeable about motorcycles to understand that this JPS 350 has a very special aura, thanks, among other things, to having a body chiseled with those design lines that were a trend in the middle of the last century. But since man does not live on nostalgia alone, the British firm has done the rest in technical and technological matters, turning this JPS 350 into an efficient model.
To show a button: It is the first model of the brand that comes equipped as standard with a “dashcam“. It also has nitrogen gas shock absorbers manufactured by the Taiwanese company Kaifa mounted on its front axle. Mechanically, it uses a 310 cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, four-valve SOHC single-cylinder engine.
With internal dimensions of 75 mm x 70 mm, it is capable of producing 27 HP of power at 8,000 rpm and 27.5 Nm of maximum torque at 6,000 revolutions. For its part, the power supply is provided by a modern EFI system signed by Bosch, complying with the current and demanding Euro5+ regulations regarding emissions.
At the chassis level, its space steel frame stands out, the same material used in its bodywork, unlike most of the models that make up its direct competition. In this way, the Royal Alloy JPS 350 is not only presented as a retro scooter; The brand has equipped it with equipment and finishing elements in the image and likeness of those models it represents more than 60 years after its origins.
Other essential aspects that shape the final appearance of this Royal Alloy JPS 350 are its two 220 mm brake discs, one per axle, or the 12″ wheels shod with tires measuring 110/70 at the front and 120/70. The assembly in running order for the scale in 145 kilosincluding 10.5 liters of fuel in its tank.

As for its equipment, in addition to what has already been mentioned, the JPS 350 includes a TFT screen full of useful information.
This can be linked to our phone to “duplicate” the screen and be able to take advantage of functions as diverse as navigation. In addition, and as a final culmination, we have the three color schemes in which the model is marketed, all of them inspired by the iconic livery worn by the legendary F1 cars sponsored by the famous British tobacco company John Player:
- Gold/Burgundy

- Gold/Black
