From time to time, Arai surprises us with a limited edition of one of its most emblematic helmets, as is the case with this RX-7X Nakasuga 4, with which they pay tribute to the well-known Japanese pilot. After winning the All Japan Road Racing Championship 12 times and doing the same in the Suzuka 8 Hours for three consecutive years, he currently competes with a Yamaha YZF-R1 in the MFJ All Japan JSB1000 Championship.
Arai RX-7X Nakasuga 4: Racing DNA
There is no doubt that the new RX-7X Nakasuga 4 is a true reflection of what the world of competition means in cultural terms in Japan. Its design combines multiple drawings with different symbols and meanings, all of them related to the SP Tadao Racing Team, Mount Fuji or the third eye, located in the front area of the head.
On the technical side, the RX-7X Nakasuga 4, like other special editions of the model, incorporates the latest technologies with which to guarantee both the safety and comfort of the pilot. Among them we can highlight the PB-SNC2 fiber shell, the VAS peripheral vision system, the reinforced Hyper Ridge structure and a type 12 spoiler.
The new RX-7X Nakasuga 4 will arrive at official Arai distributors in the final stages of next January. Its official price is 79,200 yenabout 485 euros in exchange, and will be available in up to five sizes (from 54 to 62 cm).
