In addition, the timing of this presentation will coincide with the first day of the BMW Motorrad Days 2024. In this way, the Bavarian brand will finally unveil one of the most eagerly awaited models by its die-hard fans. A bike that generation after generation continues to raise great expectations among fans of the high-performance Adventure segment.

BMW R 1300 GS Adventure 2025: Latest details before its official presentation

In the image published by BMW Motorrad, we can only see the unmistakable front of the new generation R 1300 GS 2024 and around it, a voluminous silhouette. Everything suggests that these are the shapes of the fuel tank of this special Adventure variant, registered by the brand in the Swiss patent office on May 31 under the initials GSA.

The biggest novelty in this new Adventure saga of the innovative R 1300 GS is the inclusion, within the catalogue of options, of the new Automated Shift Assistant (ASA). This offers manual or fully automatic configuration and its price is expected to be around 1,000 euros. In addition, this GS Adventure 2025 will have a fuel tank with the capacity to hold a figure around 29 liters.

Other notable details of the R 1300 GS Adventure The tare weight is 21 kilograms higher than that declared for the 2024 R 1300 GS. Part of this excess weight is due to the increase in tank capacity, but also to the arrival of some extra equipment elements, such as a set of side protection bars.

This increase in weight could force BMW to modify the elements that make up the rear of the 2025 Adventure, swingarm and subframe, with specific reinforcements to withstand the new demands. In addition, the German firm has approved final dimensions that make its new variant a shorter bike, although it is longer and taller than the standard version:
