The DesertX Discovery It has been created to be unstoppable on any terrain and is therefore equipped as standard with reinforced hand guards and an engine guard with protection for the water pump, radiator grille and reinforced crankcase protector to protect the motorcycle on the most difficult sections. .
Heated grips and a larger windshield increase comfort at low temperatures, and the center stand makes the bike more stable, making it easier to access luggage. For its part, the Turn-by-turn navigator, which can be used through the Ducati Link App, guides the rider to their destination clearly, displaying the directions directly on the dashboard.
The DesertX is a versatile bike, at home on both on- and off-road routes, thanks to a chassis based on a multi-tubular steel frame, with long suspension travel, making it suitable for any adventure. At the same time, the triple homologation of the tyres allows you to choose between different possibilities: from solutions that favour road driving, to others more oriented towards off-road.
Mechanically, the new DesertX Discovery equip the Testastretta 11° 937 cc engine with liquid cooling and desmodromic distribution, with 110 HP at 9,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 92 Nm at 6,500 rpmoptimized for specific use on the gearbox and electronic equipment. On the DesertX, in fact, three driving modes are dedicated to road use, while two are specifically designed for off-road driving.
The DesertX family, in addition to the new Discovery variant, also includes the Rally model, the first Ducati equipped with 21-inch and 18-inch wheels, front and rear respectively. A bike that combines everything necessary to turn off-road riding into a high-flying experience.
The standard Ducati DesertX remains only available with the Matt Star White Silk livery. Both versions are also offered in a 35 kW limited version for A2 licence holders.
