Alpinestars has presented its new bet in sustainable key: the Capsule Collection circal. It is a limited edition, which has little to do with what we are used to seeing in the Italian firm, and that seeks to combine minimalist design with recycled materials and with the philosophy of “circularity.” A different way of creating equipment for motorcycle users.
This proposal, which only includes jackets and shoes, arrives with a speech that we had not seen so far in the equipment sector: removable garments, manufactured with more than 85% of recycled or sustainable materials and designed to be reused at the end of their life cycle. A statement of intentions that, at least on paper, goes one step beyond traditional sustainability.
The aesthetics of the Circal collection bets on simple lines, neutral colors and minimum details, seeking to get away from recharged design. The general design reminds more of technical urban clothing than to the classic motorist equipment, something that can play in their favor if it seeks to seduce new audiences.
The Capsule Collection Circal has a clean aesthetic and urban inspiration
The CIRCAL-1 Air Jacket is the most prominent jacket: ventilated, with urban cutting and manufactured with recycled materials. It is also available in female version (Stella Circal-1) with an adapted pattern. In both cases, approved protection and reinforcements meet the usual standards, although unintempted.
As for footwear, the riding shoes fuse casual design with certain winks to the motocross boots. The recycled rubber sole and breathable canvas seek to offer comfort and ecological awareness, although we will have to see how they behave in the day -to -day life of the most demanding motorists.

Although some of the claims that accompany the launch sound to a fashion speech, it is still positive that weight marks such as Alpinestars explore new paths in matters of sustainability. Circularity is a complex and difficult goal to achieve, but each advance can make a difference.
The Capsule Collection Circal is now available in selected and online distributors. Beyond aesthetics and communication, it remains to be seen if this line really opens the door to a more responsible evolution of motorist equipment or if it stays in a symbolic gesture. Time and kilometers will say it.
